Minimum Qualifications:
License: Possess a valid Oregon Teaching license with appropriate endorsements.
Position Status:
This is a full-time 1.0 FTE, licensed position with a contract for the 2025-26 School Year.
2025-26 Contracted Highlights Include:
- COLA of 6% / District Paid 6% PERS PickUp
- 186 Day Calendar / 6 Paid Holidays
- 3 Personal Days Annually (paid out at end of year if not used) / 12 Days Sick Leave Annually
- $1,575.00 monthly District insurance contribution for medical / dental / vision premiums
- $358.00 monthly Health Savings Account District contribution with enrollment in qualified high deductible medical plan
- Annual tuition reimbursement for amount equal to 3 credits at the Portland State University rate
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop an instructional program of study that meets all students' needs.
- High School mathematics include but not limited to: Basic math, Algebra I and II, Geometry, Pre Calculus, and advanced math courses.
- Create a classroom environment that is conducive to learning.
- Demonstrate positive, effective communication skills with students, staff, and parents.
- Guide the learning process toward the achievement of curriculum goals, based on the Common Core State Standards.
- Establish clear objectives for all instruction, communicating them to students and parents.
- Implement engaging, student centered instructional activities
- AVID experience preferred
- Ability to teach dual credit courses desired
